Shipping

Some of our products can be shipped via UPS or FedEx, but larger items must ship LTL common freight carrier. Our charge is a fixed $94 for standard LTL shipments in the 48 state contiguous US. We pay the freight on orders of $1000 or more. Our shopping cart is set up to calculate the shipping charges whether by UPS/FedEx or common carrier. Alaska and Hawaii orders require additional shipping charges, which will be comfirmed prior to entering the order, as it will not be included in the shopping cart order confirmation.

The delivery driver is not obligated to unload or move the products at your door or dock. Typically the driver will move your items to the rear of the truck for you or your receiving clerk to inspect and unload accordingly. If you request, the carrier will notify you of the delivery by telephone 24-48 hours in advance of delivery, to ensure you or someone is present to receive the shipment.
INSIDE DELIVERY, LIFT GATE or other services are available for an additional charge, but must be arranged before the order is shipped. Please be aware that INSIDE DELIVERY will only get the freight into your building. We do not have a delivery service available to move these items into interior spaces, up or down stairs or elevators to interior offices or suites.

DAMAGE

Our Responsibility
WhiteboardDepot is successful in reducing the number damage claims with our shipments. We are constantly testing new packaging materials and ways to improve our cartons.

Your Responsibility
You have an important responsibility if any damage is noticed or expected. All LTL truck deliveries will require the signature of the person who has received the order. The driver will leave a copy of the signed “proof of delivery" (POD). Prior to signing anything the shipment must be inspected for damage or possible damage. Any damage or expected damage should be noted with the driver and noted on the delivery slip prior to signing for the delivery. Please open and inspect all items thoroughly at the time of delivery but before signing the POD. Unseen damage claims are not excepted beyond the tenth day after delivery.

WHEN DAMAGE IS FOUND...

At the time of delivery, simply sign the POD as "damaged" and state the item(s) that was noticed to be damaged, then call us and we will file a damage claim with the carrier and order a no cost replacement to be made and sent FAST LANE to you as quickly as possible. Please note, once an item is removed from the truck, then determined to be damaged, the driver will not typically reload it and take it away, NOR will the carrier send another truck to pick-up the damaged item. Always best to inspect the items while still inside the truck and leave any damaged/refused items in the truck. You may be able to keep the damaged item, but this is only at the discretion of the carrier, not the driver, but the damage must be noted on the POD to get a replacement.

Damage found after the driver has left your address, but not noted on the POD will require you to file a Concealed Damage claim with the carrier and usually only be reimbursed for a portion of the replacement cost. It is very important to make a thorough inspection before signing for the delivery. We cannot emphasize enough how important this is. Damage that IS NOTED will be handled by us and get you a quick replacement at no cost, but damage that is not noted will require you to be involved in the claim process with the carrier and just adds time and work to the process.
